Growing is a natural phenomenon. Everybody and everything grows. Otherwise, they have a certain disease or condition that simply stops them from growing. Because growing is a natural thing, it is only expected that there are ways in which you can naturally grow taller. One of the methods in which you can achieve your dream height without any kind of artificial ingredient in your body is by taking the right amount of proteins in your body.

Why proteins?

Proteins are said to be the basic building blocks of cells. They are there in your body to build new cells and repair those that are damaged. When we say ‘cells’, we also include the bone cells, skin cells, and basically all of the cells that your body needs to grow and function to its optimal levels. Because of this job description, you need to have protein in your body.

Aside from building and repairing cells, protein also helps you have a stronger immune system. This is necessary in order for you to have an increased resistance and fight off those infections. Just so you know, a person who always gets sick always end up with a body that is not in its full potentials including the height.

What happens when you are deficient in protein?

When you have low levels of protein, you will succumb to a lot of diseases and conditions. Some of these conditions that result are malnutrition and various infective diseases.

When you have low levels of protein, your body will be unable to have new cells that are needed badly. Whatever damaged cells you have, these are not repaired, too. With this, your body becomes ill-equipped to function as much as it could and this does not exclude your growing to your maximum height.

You see, even if you sleep a lot, exercise, and even take supplements, as long as you have low levels of protein, you will never reach the height that you want to achieve. Why? With low protein, how can your body produce the cells that are needed to naturally grow taller? The answer is ‘none’ or ‘only very little’. Because of this, many people think that what they are doing to make them grow is not working since they can not see any results.

What are the sources for protein?

There are two kinds of protein, the essential and non essentials. The essential proteins are the ones that contain the complete amino acids that your body needs but could not make on its own. To get your supply of essential proteins, eat meat, especially the lean and red meats, as well as the farm products such as milk, cheese, and eggs.

As for the non essential proteins, these are the ones that do not contain the complete amino acids. These are also the ones that your body is able to produce on its own. However, you can still get this kind of protein from plants by eating vegetables and fruits.

Proteins play a big part in growing taller. Do not skip them and never forget to include them in your diet. The more you have them, the more you help yourself grow taller naturally.
